The first Buffaloes Women's team, “The Buffettes”, was established in 2004, with the inauguration of the Northern Territory Women's Football League and were premiership winners in 2016/17 season.

 The Buffettes now include U15s and U18s (who have won the past five NTFL premierships, since the Under 18s division started). 

Darwin Buffaloes Football Club are proud to announce the appointment of Melinda Taylor as the head coach of the Premier League Women’s team for the 2021/22 season!

Mel takes over as a past player and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the game to our already all round talented team.

We look forward to seeing Mel lead our women to no doubt another successful season.
